Opening: Events Coordinator 

Position Overview:Coordinate details of events relating to: marketing, charity, press, trade shows, sales meetings, lunches, brunches, dinners, etc.

The Ideal Candidate: Is energetic, extremely organized, excellent in Communications, tenacious, adaptable, flexible and a great leader. Has at least 1 year of experience coordinating events and is able to creative problem-solve and work autonomously as well as in a team environment. 

Duties Include:

Calculate budgets and ensure they are adhered to.

Work with our community of chefs or catering companies to secure food for events.

Schedule speakers, vendors, and participants.

Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met.

Initiates, coordinates and/or participates in all efforts to publicize event.

Coordinate with our Design team for promotional materials.

Prepare presentations for potential clients.

Develop and oversee fundraising events.

Prepare and oversee event space.

Create and maintain relationships with brand partners and sponsors

Send out invitations and manage RSVP list.

Hire or coordinate with HR for any necessary additional event staff to manage the event

Manage correspondence.

Coordinate event logistics, contracts and code regulations.

Keep event inventory of materials.

Opening: Content Coordinator 

Position Overview: Creating original content/assets that align with marketing initiatives. This includes digital collateral across social channels, newsletters, catalogues, website, etc. Includes product styling, photography and design legwork.

The Ideal Candidate: Is a team player. A natural communicator. Upbeat and a problem solver. Has a background in the creative field. Is comfortable with a DSLR, Adobe Creative Suite, social media channels, research. Eager to learn, eager to contribute. Self-starter with follow-through. Experience copy-writing is a plus. Is a little weird. We like weird.

Duties Include:

Market Research. Researching key demographics about customers in new and current sales channels. Creating reports with summarized stats and recommendations. Creating surveys with Qualtrics for product feedback, etc. 

Assets: Running photo shoots and editing photos for all B2C and B2B newsletters. Planning ahead to make sure all future NLs have the assets they need 2-3 weeks ahead of time. Coordinating with potential models beforehand to make sure they are available. 

Site Maintenance: Updating the press page with recent features, posting upcoming job openings on the Job page, ensuring all product pages have correct information and the latest lifestyle photos. 

Blog Posts: Working with Brand Manager to write 2-4 blog posts/ week and linking to relevant sources. Adding excerpts to each post.

Product Launches: Creating new products in Shopify. Inputting product type (to load the apron sketch), adding the item to the embroidery app, adding in specs, inventory levels, pictures and product description. Ensuring that this is all done before Tuesday afternoon the week of the product launch. 

FB, Twitter, Pinterest and IG stories. Working in coordination with Brand Manager to help with the Social calendar.
