EEEEEATSCON Recap

At H&B we truly believe that anything can be done. So when The Infatuation asked us to be involved and we started brainstorming, the ideas were insane. Spaghetti contraptions and walls covered in Runts were pitched, but we really wanted something fun, colorful and culinary inspired, so we pushed the envelope and tried to make the impossible happen this weekend at EEEEEATSCON!! What started as two huge white walls resulted in an incredible grid of rainbow colors, fruit, apron straps and ampersands.Spray adhesive, sewing pins, a stapler gun and a hacksaw were involved. A couple hours and two band-aids later, we had brought our vision to life: a ROYGBIV strap grid with a medley of fruits and vegetables sprinkled throughout. It was colorful and it was lively. Exactly what we were hoping for.

Thanks to Infatuation for letting us go crazy and let our creative juices run wild with our installation at the "food festival for a new generation."

The #Apronsquad was in full force and working hard all day long wearing our aprons behind their booths from La Colombe, Shake Shack, Nomad Truck, Chi Spacca (you too, Nancy!), and Pasquale Jones!!!

Our very own Apron Lady moderated a panel with Andrew Steinhal: Co-Founder and CRO with The Infatuation, Jonathan Neman: Co-Founder, Sweetgreen, and Noelle Scaggs: Singer from Fitz & The Tantrums. They each spoke about living your passion and finding purpose in life.Â ï»żFact: It's never easy, it's always worth it.

What could be better than knowledge share, good food, good music, and good people?!?! It was such an amazing event to be part of, and we can't wait till next year!!
