Shipping Policy

Once you place your Hedley & Bennett order, it typically takes 1-2 business days to get your order processed, packed, and into the hands of the shipping carrier. From there, please allow another 5-7 business days for ground shipping, depending on your location. You can track your order using our Customer Portal.

EMBROIDERY & CUSTOMIZATION: Custom embroidery orders ship in 2-3 business days, and engraving orders ship in 5-7 business days.

Canada, the UK, and Australia: We ship internationally to Canada, the UK, and Australia. Typically, it takes 7 business days for international orders to be processed. Shipping rates and delivery times vary by location and will be calculated at checkout.

PREORDERS: If your order includes pre-order items, we'll dispatch your entire shipment as soon as all items become available. When you preorder a product, we note the estimated date on the product's detail page. This is the date we anticipate that we'll be able to ship your product. It is not the date your package will arrive. Estimated ship dates are subject to change.

PO BOXES & MILITARY AFO / FPO ADDRESSES: Unfortunately, we are currently not able to ship to Military APO/FPO addresses.

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return and exchange policy for all unworn, unwashed, and unaltered items purchased directly from hedleyandbennett.com. Free Returns + Package Protection coverage is available for a small fee at checkout, which makes the return process fast, easy, and free of shipping costs. If you want to return a product you purchased from another retailer, please contact the retailer directly for information on their return policy.

If you did not purchase Free Return + Package Protection at checkout, you're still welcome to return your item within our 30-day window by clicking here, though the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

The following items are Final Sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Embroidered or personalized items (including customized aprons and knives)
  • Mystery Box or Overstocked aprons
  • Items marked as Final Sale at the time of purchase

Orders Outside of the US:
We accept returns on international orders (outside the U.S.) as long as items are unworn, unwashed, and unaltered. However, international customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds will be issued once the item is received and processed at our warehouse.

Important Return Policy Notes:

We must receive your item(s) at our warehouse within 30 days of delivery.

Credit for Returned Items: When you return an item, you will be credited only for the amount you originally paid. You will NOT be credited for the original cost of shipping.

Free Returns + Package Protection is Not Refundable: Package protection is not refundable once an order has been processed.

Processing Time: Once we receive the returned item(s) at our warehouse, please allow us 7-10 business days to process your refund. The time it will take for the refund to post to your bank account, PayPal account, or credit card varies.

Refunds:

If we receive your return within 30 days of your order date, you can choose to receive your refund to your original payment method or as a Hedley & Bennett store credit. Returned items must be new and unused.

We only accept returns for products purchased directly from Hedley & Bennett. If you want to return a product you purchased from another retailer, please contact the retailer directly for information on their return policy.

We also do not accept returns of custom embroidered or engraved items. We also do not accept returns of items marked "Final Sale," which includes aprons sold through our Mystery Box promotion.

Please note that our responsibility for the goods ends once they are delivered to the address provided by the customer. We do not offer refunds or replacements for orders that have been stolen after successful delivery. We highly recommend customers ship their order to a secure delivery location or make arrangements for someone to receive the package to avoid such incidents.
